Mold Count Reduction
NOFUNGUSAMONGUS - An Indoor Air Quality company specializing in mold remediation submitted air
samples to Moldlab
One air sample was taken in the attic of a residence that was fogged with Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution and the control sample was taken from the outside air. The mold count of the indoor air sample was the lowest the technicians have ever seen.

Sporicidin® Enzymatic Cleaner
"Sporicidin is our biocide / deodorizer of choice. We have been requiring its use on thousands of indoor air quality and mold remediation projects for nearly 5 years. This fungicide / bactericide / virucide is EPA registered for air ducts, carpets, surfaces and fogging which makes it an invaluable resource. One product can be used rather than having a remediation firm use a "cocktail of products" to address different needs on the same project. We find its mold killing power combined with its toxicological safety to be unparalleled. Using Sporicidin also complements proper HEPA vacuuming and other source removal techniques."

"Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution was more effective than household bleach in controlling common mold fungi..."
"It is safer for handling and can be used for more applications than any other product... Our 1,200 plus franchises love the product and have found it extremely useful in both water and mold remediation work."
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) categorizes Sporicidin® as a Very Low Toxicity product for oral, dermal or inhalation effects and skin irritation. EPA categorizes Sporicidin® in the Low Toxicity category for eye irritation.
Sporicidin Beats Bleach
Sporicidin Beats Bleach: According to researchers at the University of Maryland, Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution "is more effective than household bleach in controlling common mold fungi found in building materials, including Stachybotrys chartarum, Chaetomium globosum and Aspergillus niger (black mold). These comments came from study leader George Bean, Ph.D. a professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics at the university.
...The findings are significant, "because they update recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which has recommended that most molds can be treated by cleaning with bleach and water". Sporicidin was also highly rated in the study for its residual effect. The EPA registered disinfectant has gained popularity in the remediation market...
