• Tested and proven disinfection capacity: The DLR series is
biologically tested and verified for UV water disinfection at a rated
flow. Each model will provide 30 to 40mJ/m˛ ultraviolet dose at rated flow at end of UV lamp life based on a
minimum 90% UV transmittance.
• Electro-polished stainless steel disinfection chamber: The DLR
series provide 316L stainless steel disinfection chamber that is
electro-polished. Each disinfection chamber has a male NPT bottom inlet
and male NPT top outlet to insure optimum hydraulic profile. The
disinfection chamber is equipped with a ground lug.
• High output low pressure UV lamp: The DLR series are
engineered with one high output low-pressure UV lamp centered within
the disinfection chamber and protected by pure fused quartz sleeve. The
high output UV lamps provide a greater UV intensity than a standard
low-pressure lamp while maintaining the efficiency of the standard
low-pressure lamps.
• High efficient electronic ballast power supply: The DLR series
utilize specially designed high efficient electronic ballast that is
matched with the UV lamp to provide maximum UV intensity. The ballast
includes smart technology to turn the ballast off if the UV lamp is not
connected or operational.
• Glow-cap UV lamp operation indicator: The DLR series include a
Glow-Cap™ lamp operation indicator that illuminates a blue glow when
the UV lamp is operational. This allows the consumer to visually check
the operation of the UV lamp without chance of exposure to the UV lamp.
• UV lamp operation indicator: The DLR series include a UV lamp
LED operation indicator that illuminates a green glow when the UV lamp
is operational. This allows the consumer to visually check the
operation of the UV lamp without chance of exposure to UV light.
• Safety UV lamp connector: The DLR series offer a unique Saf-T-Cap™
lamp connector that disconnects power to lamp if removed while
energized. This prevents accidental exposure to UV light. The lamp
connector easily attaches to the UV lamp by locating the keyed UV lamp
connector into the mating lamp base. This ensures a proper connection
to the UV lamp without any special tools.
• Microcomputer control: The DLR Series models utilize a
sophisticated microcomputer control board that monitors the ongoing
operational status of the UV system with system check and verification
status that integrates with the audible alarm and LED display to insure
proper operation of your UV system.
• Audible Alarm plus visual alarm display: The control box
provides both audible and visual alarms for various key alarm functions
for the DLR Series models. Each alarm is displayed on the control box
LED display that indicates the specific alarm. The systems are provided
with a quick reference guide with a definition of each alarm on the
control box.
• UV Lamp change reminder with internal 365 days counter: The
DLR Series UV water purifiers incorporate an internal 365 days
countdown counter. The countdown starts the day the new UV lamp is
installed and provides a friendly visual alarm reminder that your UV
lamp will require changing when the days remaining reach 30. A snooze
reset silent the alarm for five days and can be repeated each time the
alarm sounds. This allows the consumer to snooze the alarm while
contacting their dealer for service to replace the UV lamp. The system
will continue to countdown until it reaches zero days remaining and
provides another audible and visual alarm reminder that your UV lamp
needs immediate change.
• Alarm and computer reset button: The DLR Series UV water
purifiers provide various visual and audible alarm levels with a reset
able feature. This allows the consumer to snooze the alarm while
contacting their dealer for service. Each alarm will activate again
five days after the reset if the alarm condition has not been serviced.
